Cable gland

EMC cable glands for demanding applications

Reliable cable glands for the safe passage, sealing and shielding of cables in technically demanding environments.

Our cable glands combine mechanical stability with effective electromagnetic shielding (EMC) and are particularly suitable for applications with increased requirements for tightness, vibration resistance and electrical conductivity.

Kabelverschraubungen

Robust solution for industrial and safety-related systems

The design of our cable glands is based on a multi-part structure consisting of a screw body, union nut, pressure ring, shield contact and seal.

This combination allows:

  • Safe strain relief (≥ 600 N)
  • Reliable electrical contacting of the screen
  • High tightness in the screwed condition (up to 0.6 bar)
  • Effective EMC shielding up to 90 dB in the relevant frequency range

Your benefits at a glance

  • Mechanically robust and durable design
  • Effective shield contacting for EMC applications
  • High pull-out forces and secure cable fastening
  • Resistant to oil, fuels and environmental influences
  • Corrosion-protected, electrically conductive surface
  • Olive-green surface (similar to RAL 6014) for military applications
  • Suitable for demanding industrial and military applications

Proven in military use

Our cable glands have been used in military applications for many years and are established with various system suppliers.

All versions are listed as supply items of the Bundeswehr and have a NATO Stock Number (NSN). This makes them part of standardized logistics procurement processes.

Our products are used by well-known European system houses.

Typical areas of application

  • Military vehicles and systems
  • Communication and radar technology
  • Mechanical and plant engineering
  • Energy and Infrastructure Technology
  • Maritime applications

Product variants

Our cable glands are available in several designs and cover different cable and diameter ranges.

Typical features of the variants:

  • Clamping ranges, e.g. from Ø18.5 to Ø24 mm and up to Ø31–38 mm
  • Aluminum alloy or brass version (CuZn)
  • Surface galvanized and passivated (olive-green, similar to RAL 6014)
  • Electrically conductive and corrosion-protected surface
  • Temperature resistance from approx. -30 °C to +70 °C
  • Integrated shield contacting and sealing systems
